It only took a pandemic for QR codes to have really widespread use here in the States and the place we see them most is restaurants offering links to their online menus, but even then, the execution is a little off.
I see most using redirect services, probably from whatever vendor is providing the printing, and that’s a shame. You can create your own QR codes that go directly to your website avoiding any dependency on third party services.
QR Code Creator is a website where you can do this yorself and download it in a variety of formats. I’d recommend picking up the SVG file because that’s a vector format and you can blow it up to the size of a building if you want with no distortion.
