Apple and director Damien Chazelle (La La Land) have made a 9 minute short (link to YouTube) to feature what can be done with vertical video framing and (perhaps more their point) the iPhone 11.
Being an old broadcast guy means vertical video syndrome gives me get-off-my-lawn feels, but with the advent of TikTok, Instagram Stories, and whatever else is down the pipe, it looks like the format is here to stay.
Might as well make the best of it.
