I just saw today that WRAL will no longer allow commenting on the pages of WRAL.com.
From the article:
“Despite our best efforts — which included paid moderators, requiring Facebook logins and artificial intelligence tools from Google to identify toxic language — story comments have become a distraction to many visitors and our staff.”
Good for them. Unfortunately, online culture is now as such even your mild mannered neighbor feels free to peddle their crazy views online. Reading the comments is an all new adventure down the rabbit hole of crazy, rude mind vomit.
Is there a way for them to do the same on Facebook posts?
